The Norwegian Getaway went into dry dock at Damen in Brest, France for two weeks. The renovation of several million dollars included regular maintenance and a number of renovations for the ship from 2014. The cabins have been refreshed as well as the public spaces. New facilities include a Starbucks on board and a rock ‘n’ roll stage called Syd Norman’s Pour House. It is also special that almost 800 works of art have been placed new. More than 20% is original. For example, a new work of art has been placed in the atrium of artist Eric Levy. His work can also be found on the Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Escape.
